Legacy is committed to the full restoration of the church through the release of the five-fold ministry gifts. We are committed to preach, teach and live the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Legacy is based upon a strong foundation of prayer and dependency upon the Holy Spirit.

The function of the Evangelistic Gift is to equip and to edify, till the Saints become what is clearly outlined in Ephesians 4:1-16. Toward this end, we reach out to the world in the following manner.

  1. Prayer.
  2. Reaching the lost through the divine direction of the Holy Spirit which is the action that comes out of prayer
  3. Nurturing: Laying the foundations of Hebrews 6:1-2, providing restoration and healing ministry to the body of Christ. Fostering Christ-centered friendships for every new believer.
  4. Disciplining: Teaching the word of God and relating every person to the word of God through ongoing relationship built on trust and love.
  5. Training and Equipping for ministry: Training the disciples to evangelize and teach the word of God, equipping the disciples to function in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
  6. Planting New Congregations: Two or three coming together in a prayer house in a selected area to reach the lost and make disciples.
  7. Recognizing Emerging Ministries: Seeing the Lord raise up a new generation of apostles, prophets, teachers and all the ministries and gifts of the New Testament (1 Cor. 12:28)
  8. Ministering to the Whole Being: Providing humanitarian aide, when necessary and empowering the general public of foreign nations to maximize their skills and resources.

Through this model, new disciples learn how to spend quality time with God. As a lifestyle and new culture, they pray effectively, memorize and study the Scriptures and share their faith naturally - for the rest of their lives!
